          Stephanie and Tim are the first engagement session I did out at our   house in Yadkin County.  They  were troopers hiking all over the property and ending up in our wheat field (that is way over due for harvesting!) But it did make some really pretty photos. Stephanie and Tim were so easy to work with and had a great time with each other. I never suggest what to wear, always prefer my subjects to be dressed the way they normally dress, turns out the wildflowers we used in the last shots matched the flowers on Stephanie's dress.. serendipity I guess.

                                           I really need to teach my assistant, Daisy, some better manners!

I'd like to add a few notes on what made this session so wonderful.. 1. the couple was so relaxed with each other and had fun despite their was a camera on them. 2. Even though I did not make any clothing suggestions, they really picked the best options for both color and b/w images. .. solid colors, no pastels and no excessive print patterns. 3, Light.. it can be your enemy or best friend as a photographer. The light is what can make an image from good to great. I always shoot late afternoon or early evening for the best lighting.
