          Jacob and Patty are my second session on our property in Yadkin County. They brought their two labs, Guiness and Bass along with them. I wanted to make sure I capured some portraits of their dogs, as well as their interaction with the dogs and make some beautiful pre natal photos.. capturing all these elements might be a challange. The other challage was Patty as you can see, is very pregnant and last weekend was REALLY hot, I planned to take them all down to our creek that runs into the Yadkin River. A short walk, but still .. I'm not the one that is pregnant! They did awesome.. again, I do very little directing. I just gently make suggestions until my subjects relax in front of the camera. The dogs (mostly Bass) loved the creek, as well as the wide open field. After the session, I realized how well it had gone. Jacob and Patty are on the brink of changing their lives. Until now, the pups have been their kids, and I was happy to capture this small window before things change for their family dynamics.
